IT Administrator Job Description

The IT Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company’s information technology (IT) infrastructure. This includes managing the network, servers, workstations, and software applications. The IT Administrator also provides support to users of the IT system.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company’s IT infrastructure, including the network, servers, workstations, and software applications
  • Provide support to users of the IT system
  • Install and configure new software and hardware
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems
  • Monitor the IT system for security breaches and vulnerabilities
  • Keep up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies
 

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
